About us
Tecksoft saw the light of day on summer 2004 when Mathieu Néron and Jean-François "JF" Durocher decided they wanted to make more than just small pieces of software here and there. They started their journey connecting medical devices and creating what would becoming the defacto ophthalmology EMR in the province of Quebec and used all over Canada.
Based on their past experiences they went on to acquire the acclaimed and loved optometry EMR software called OptoClick and modernized it to make it the most powerful Optometry software available on the market and then disrupted the market with competitive pricing giving the opportunity for all for a true paperless office.
